Columbia, S.C. (February 28, 2025)— The South Carolina Department of Transportation has closed and detoured the bridge on River Road over Longnose Creek in Oconee County for repairs.
At this time, SCDOT does not have a timeframe for the repairs. We will release more information as it becomes available.
As part of this closure, a detour route has been set up. A map of the closure and detour can be found below. Please note that River Road will be open to local traffic only except at the bridge closure site.
SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention when driving near the work zone.
