Columbia, S.C. (December 18, 2025) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will be temporarily prohibiting all left turns at the intersection of Old York Road (SC 161) and Paraham Road.
Expect lane closures along Old York Road on Friday, December 19, from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. while crews install barricades in the median. During this time, Paraham Road between Old York Road and Mt. Gallant Road will be restricted to local traffic only.
Traffic that would normally make left turns at this intersection will now use the intersection of Old York Road and Mt. Gallant Road to make that movement.
