Columbia, S.C. (September 6, 2024) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will implement two temporary, single-lane closures on I-77 Northbound in Chester County beginning Monday, September 9, at 6 p.m. The temporary closures are expected to last until Wednesday afternoon.
The closures will happen in the right lane of I-77 Northbound, starting at mile marker 52 and ending just north of the bridge over Little Rocky Creek. The second lane closure will begin at mile marker 55 and will end just north of the bridge over Rocky Creek. A map of the affected areas is below.
SCDOT asks the public to slow down and pay attention when driving through the work zone. You can plan your route ahead of time by using SCDOT's 511 SC app or by visiting 511sc.org. If you can't avoid the area, SCDOT asks that you use caution and slow down when driving near crews.
