SCDOT to implement nighttime single lane closure on US 17 Bypass in Horry County for utility relocation

Columbia, S.C. (July 15, 2024) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will implement a single lane closure on the outside lane of US 17 Bypass Southbound for utility relocation beginning tonight. The utility relocation is part of the Fred Nash Boulevard Widening Project.

 

The closure is set to begin at 10 p.m. and is expected to be complete by 3 a.m. on Tuesday. Two travel lanes will remain open during the relocation.  A map of the closure can be found below.
