SCDOT to permanently close section of Croft Mill Road in Aiken County

Columbia, S.C. (November 25, 2024)—The South Carolina Department of Transportation will permanently close a section of Croft Mill Road near University Parkway (SC 118) in Aiken County on December 4, 2024. This closure is part of a roadway improvement project to address safety concerns at the intersection and includes improvements at the intersection of Vaucluse Road and University Parkway. A map of the impacted roadway can be found below.

As part of this closure, signs will be installed in the area, prior to the closing, to let drivers know to use Vaucluse Road instead of Croft Mill Road to access University Parkway.

SCDOT encourages the public to slow down and pay attention when driving near the work zone.
