(June 13, 2024) - SCDOT will hold a combined drop-in public involvement meeting on Thursday, June 27, 2024 regarding two proposed bridge replacement projects in Orangeburg County.
The meeting will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2024. The meeting will take place at Providence United Methodist Church located at 4833 Old State Road, Holly Hill, SC 29059. SCDOT representatives will be available at the meeting to discuss the proposed project with members of the community.
The South Carolina Department of Transportation proposes to replace two bridges in Orangeburg County. The first bridge is on US 176 (Old State Road) over Providence Swamp and Overflow. The second bridge is on S-607 (Lodge Hall Street) over Batchelor Branch.
