SCDOT to hold drop-in public involvement meeting in Greenville County

SCDOT will hold a drop-in public involvement meeting on Thursday, June 20, 2024 regarding a proposed safety improvement project in Greenville County on a portion of Wade Hampton Boulevard from East Lee Road to Watson Road.

The meeting will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2024. The meeting will take place at Lutheran Church of Our Saviour located at 2600 Wade Hampton Boulevard, Greenville, SC 29615. SCDOT representatives will be available at the meeting to discuss the proposed project with members of the community.


The South Carolina Department of Transportation proposes to implement changes on US 29 (Wade Hampton Boulevard) from East Lee Road to Watson Road that are intended to improve the safety of the corridor, as well as reduce the frequency and severity of crashes. Some of the proposed improvements include the installation of concrete medians, improved pedestrian facilities and upgraded signals. Visit the project website for additional information.
