Columbia, SC (May 31, 2024) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will temporarily close Emory Road in Horry County on Monday, June 3, for utility relocation as part of Horry County's RIDE III Project.
The road closure is expected to take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. During this time, traffic will be detoured using Emory Road, Shetland Lane and Fred Nash Boulevard. A map of the detour can be found below. Please note that Emory Road will be open to local traffic only, except in the area of the closure.
