Following a routine bridge inspection, The South Carolina Department of Transportation closed the bridge on Cannons Campground Road in Spartanburg County. During the inspection, the bridge was deemed unsafe for travel and will remain closed until it can be repaired. A map of the detour can be found below.

A section of Cannons Campground Road in Cherokee County near I-85 is already temporarily closed for roadway improvements as a part of the widening of I-85 in Spartanburg and Cherokee County. That closure is anticipated to reopen later this week.
