Curtis M. Spencer of Sumter has been named a South Carolina Department of Transportation Commissioner, representing the 5th Congressional District.
Spencer works in real estate with American Forest Management/AFM Real Estate. He has assisted clients in the sale and acquisition of rural property, timberland investments, farms, and recreation tracts for more than 20 years. He is licensed in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia.
A proud graduate of Clemson University, Spencer enjoys serving his community and state in various capacities. He has previously served on the board of the South Carolina Conservation Bank. He enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, and fishing.
