Columbia, S.C. (April 22, 2024) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will temporarily close part of Green River Road in Cherokee County beginning on April 29 as part of the I-85 Widening Project. The closure is anticipated to last two months.
During the closure, traffic will be detoured using Macedonia Road, Green Acres Road, Oglesby Valley Road and Green River Road. A map of the detour can be found below. Please not that the road will be open to local traffic during the closure.
