Columbia, S.C. (April 10, 2024) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will replace the bridge on Old Wire Road West over Wolf Creek in Marlboro County. The bridge has been closed because of flood damage.
SCDOT expects construction to begin on April 15 and to be complete by fall 2025. Traffic will be detoured along a posted route using Ebenezer Road, Grant Mill Road, and Knollock Road. A map of the detour route is provided below.
SCDOT asks drivers to plan their routes in advance and to slow down and drive with caution near construction zones.
