Project Information

Through this project, the South Carolina Department of Transportation will reconfigure the existing diamond interchange to improve access between SC 160 and I-77. The offset direction interchange will be the first of its kind in South Carolina. This interchange type will not only reduce left-turn conflicts on SC 160, it will also improve intersection spacing and reduce the congestion on SC 160. The project will also widen over 1 mile of SC 160 through the interchange from US 21 to Pleasant Road.
