Columbia, S.C. (January 12, 2024) - Starting on Monday, January 15, the Hardscrabble Road entrance to The Shores apartment complex will be temporarily closed. The South Carolina Department of Transportation will put the closure in place as part of the Hardscrabble Road widening project in Richland County.
Construction will include new asphalt and a new curb, gutter and sidewalk. Construction activity is expected to last approximately a week.
Traffic bound for The Shores apartment complex will be directed to the complex's entrance on Elders Pond Road. A map of the detour can be found below.
