Edgefield, S.C. (Sept. 29, 2023) - On Monday, October 2, SCDOT will close U.S. 25 Business (Augusta Road) to through traffic for construction, with closures at both intersections of U.S. 25 Business (Augusta Road) and U.S. 25 (Bauskett Street).
The construction includes a storm drain installation that is part of a sidewalk improvement project that will improve pedestrian safety. Access to local properties within the road closure will be maintained. SCDOT urges drivers to use caution while traveling near the work zone.
