In partnership with Duke Energy, SCDOT will close a section of I-85 business overnight on Sunday, September 24 and Monday, September 25. The closure will only be in one direction each night – on Sunday the northbound travel lanes will be closed and detoured and on Monday the southbound travel lanes will be closed and detoured. The closures will take place between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. on both nights and are expected to have minimal traffic impacts.
Duke Energy will be performing tree work in the area to ensure safety and improve service. Drivers are encouraged to drive cautiously, follow directional signage and remain alert for workers alongside the roadway.
