SCDOT has reduced traffic to one lane in the northbound direction on US 1 over the Wateree River in Lugoff. The left, northbound traveling lane is closed for the entire span of the bridge and on either side of the bridge to allow for emergency repairs to the bridge. SCDOT crews are currently assessing the damage and planning to expedite repairs. Details about the construction timeline will be provided as they become available.
