(September 14, 2023) – Following a recent inspection, the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) will close the bridge on Mt. Pisgah Road in Kershaw County for repairs starting September 18.
Repairs will take place on the bridge's support structures and the bridge deck surface. Work is estimated to last about 12 weeks, with plans to reopen the bridge to traffic later this year.
Detour Information
A signed detour route will be established using S-28-648 (Charlie Johnson Road), S-28-20 (Lockhart Road) and S.C.157 (Jones Road). A map of the location and the detours is attached.
