(August 15, 2023) – SCDOT will begin intersection improvement work at Hitchcock Parkway and Oriole Street in Aiken County starting Wednesday, August 23. Portions of Oriole Street between Hitchcock Parkway and Bluff Pointe Way will be closed to traffic during construction, which is scheduled to take place within a period of 30 days.
A signed detour route will redirect traffic bound for Oriole Street to the intersection of Cardinal Drive and Silver Bluff Road. SCDOT asks motorists to drive with caution in the area during this time.
