Columbia, S.C. (August 10, 2023) – Following a recent inspection, SCDOT closed the bridge on Richland Street crossing the tributary to Little Buck Creek in Spartanburg County. SCDOT is making repairs and expects to reopen the bridge by Wednesday, August 16.
Detour Route for Eastbound Traffic on Richland Street (S-42-460):
Motorists traveling eastbound on Richland Street (S-42-460) will be directed to take California Avenue (S-42-461) to the intersection of Lexington Street (S-42-462) where they will turn right. They will proceed to the intersection of McKinney Street (S-42-463) and turn right which will bring them back to Richland Street (S-42-460).
Detour Route for Westbound Traffic on Richland Street (S-42-460):
Motorists traveling westbound on Richland Street (S-42-460) will be directed to take McKinney Street (S-42-463) to Lexington Street (S-42-462) where they will turn left. They will proceed to the intersection of California Avenue (S-42-461) where they will turn left and will bring them back to Richland Street (S-42-460).
