Little River Swing Bridge in Horry County to close for bridge maintenance

​Little River, S.C. (May 12, 2023) – Starting at 6 p.m. Monday, May 15, SCDOT will close the Little River Swing Bridge over the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway to vehicle traffic and navigation for bridge maintenance. The bridge is expected to reopen at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, May 16. Vehicle traffic may detour over the neighboring U.S. 17 bridge.
