The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) will hold a Public Information Meeting for a proposed intersection improvement project in Oconee County: SC 182 at SC 59 and SC 59 at SC 243 in the town of Fair Play. The meeting will be held on Thursday, March 3rd, 2022 from 5 pm-7 pm at Beaverdam Baptist Church at 328 Beaverdam Church Rd., Fair Play, SC 29643.
SCDOT staff will be available at the meeting to discuss the concept design and project details, and members of the public will have an opportunity to provide written comments. The proposed project will realign the intersection of SC 182 at SC 59 and SC 59 at SC 243 providing separation between the intersections as well as improved sight distance and intersection operation.
