Thursday, November 18, 2021, from 5-7 PM at Ryanne's Event Center, located at 154 Main Street, Lynchburg, SC 29080. This is a drop-in meeting providing citizens with project displays and the opportunity to provide written comments. Formal verbal comments will not be taken during this meeting. Purpose:
The purpose of this public comment period is to provide an opportunity for the public to review and provide questions and input to representatives from SCDOT on the proposed safety improvements at US 401 (N Darlington Hwy) / SC 341 (Lynchburg Hwy) in Lee, SC. The proposed project will convert an existing 2-way stop intersection to a roundabout along the existing alignment that will meet current design requirements, eliminate crossing conflicts and improve safety. Another purpose of this public comment period is to gather information from the public or any interested organization on historic or cultural resources in the area. Personnel from SCDOT will respond to comments received during the public comment period.
