Project Purpose:
The purpose of the project is to correct the structural deficiencies associated with the existing S-466 (Red Bay Road) Bridge over Turkey Creek to meet current design standards. In an effort to expedite the time frame of the project and reduce construction impacts at this site, this will require closing the bridge and detouring traffic. Proposed detour information can also be found on the project's website.
**Structurally deficient is a status used to describe a bridge that has one or more structural defects that require attention. This status does not mean the bridge is not currently safe for vehicle traffic.**.
