LANE CLOSURE ON I-20 IN LEE COUNTY
A long term lane closure on I-20 will restrict oversize loads GREATER THAN 10 FEET WIDE from traveling on I-20 in Lee County between US-15 (mile marker 116) & SC-341 (mile marker 120).
The East and West bound lanes will be reduced down to one single lane at a maximum of 11 feet wide. No loads over 10 feet wide will be allowed to travel through this area.
A detour will be put into place for wide loads running under an OSOW annual trip permits and exempt loads (road machinery, farm and forestry equipment). The detour is as follows:
I-20 East Bound: I-20 (Exit 116), US-15 North, SC-154 (St Charles Hwy), US-401 (towards Darlington), SC-527 (towards Bishopville), SC-341 & I-20
I-20 West Bound: I-20 (Exit 120), SC-341 (towards Elliot), SC-527, US-401 (towards Sumter), SC-154 (towards Bishopville), US-15 (South) & I-20
