SCDOT advertises Design Build opportunities in the Budget and Control Board's South Carolina Business Opportunities (SCBO) Publication. As a convenience, we are also publishing those same Design Build advertisements here and providing additional information regarding upcoming design/build projects.

The South Carolina Department of Transportation, in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration, is increasingly utilizing the design-build process and other alternative delivery methods in an effort to expedite project delivery. The Preconstruction Innovative Projects Section administers the Department's Design Build and Alternative Delivery Methods Program. This Section is housed within the Lowcountry Regional Production Group and is comprised of engineers from various disciplines in order to help identify and deliver innovative projects statewide in a timely and efficient manner.
