About the Project

The South Carolina Department of Transportation in conjunction with the City of Simpsonville proposes Intersection improvements along W. Georgia Road (S-272) at Neely Ferry Road (L-2711), E. Standing Springs Road (L-1155). Proposed intersection improvements are to add a southbound right-turn lane on East Standing Springs Rd at the intersection of West Georgia Rd, and an eastbound right-turn lane on West Georgia Rd at the intersection of Neely Ferry Rd. The reduction in scope due to limited funding for the project along with the increasing costs for construction materials.
