The Old Sheldon Church Road Scenic Byway is located on state secondary road S-7-21 between Gardens Corner and Yemassee. It is the site of the Sheldon Church ruins, dating back to the 1740's.
It is also home to several plantations. The route is approximately seven miles long. Its oak canopies and picturesque wetlands are characteristic of the South Carolina Lowcountry.
