McTeer Bridge & Causeways Scenic Highway
The James Edwin McTeer Bridge and Causeway is a scenic route connecting Port Royal and Lady's island in Beaufort County. It is less than three miles long.
The most scenic part of the drive is the bridge itself which spans the Beaufort River, overlooking beautiful marshes and a picturesque marina. The confluence of the Broad River can be seen to the south and the Beaufort waterfront can be seen to the north.
