Office of the Chief Internal Auditor

Vision Statement

The internal audit function will maintain a clear focus on traditional audit areas such as risk assessment including the risk of fraud and misuse of assets, proper internal controls, reliability and integrity of financial and other information produced by the organization, and the means of safeguarding assets.

In addition, through Operational Audits, we see opportunity as change agents to analyze programs and operations for efficiency, effectiveness and the delivery of intended results, and identify new initiatives, changes, or innovation through business process reengineering which may reduce program costs and add value to the organization.
