Tuition Assistance: Full-Time employees of SCDOT may be eligible to receive Tuition Assistance. The purpose of the Tuition Assistance Program is for job enhancement and to develop a better-educated workforce.
SCDOT University: There is a wide variety of training opportunities offered through the SCDOT University and other training resources. The purpose of the training programs is to help employees improve performance, develop a more flexible workforce, provide a core of technical training and provide an orientation experience to motivate new employees.
Employee Recognition Programs: The SCDOT has a variety of incentive and performance awards, both monetary and honorary awards, to recognize employees for their outstanding work and contributions.

Flexible Work Schedule: The standard workweek is Monday through Friday. However, where possible, SCDOT allows flexibility in arranging work schedules to give you more time with your family and to pursue your interests and hobbies outside of the office.
