Now in its third year of service, the SmartRide Commuter-Focused Transit Program is a partnership between SCDOT, the Central Midlands Regional Transportation Authority (RTA), and the Santee Wateree RTA, local communities, businesses, and conscientious commuters who want a viable alternative to the traditional single-occupant vehicle commute. Commuters are invited to try any of the SmartRide commuter transit services available into the downtown Columbia area.
