Hurricane Matthew Resources

SCDOT provides several online resources to help motorists cope with the storm.

Debris

SCDOT is in the process of activating debris removal contracts in 19 counties. These contracts are for the removal of debris resulting from Hurricane Matthew only. The debris pick-up schedules will be provided once they are determined. The 19 counties where contracts are being activated are: Beaufort, Berkeley, Charleston, Clarendon, Colleton, Darlington, Dillon, Dorchester, Florence, Georgetown, Hampton, Horry, Jasper, Lee, Marion, Marlboro, Orangeburg, Sumter, and Williamsburg. SCDOT is providing this chart to assist property owners with guidelines for separating hurricane debris on curbsides.
