The State of the Pavement Report 2016

The State of the Pavement Report was developed by the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) to summarize the annual investment made to improve and preserve the pavements of South Carolina's State Maintained Highway System, and the how that investment has affected the overall condition of the system.

This report is intended to quantify the results and the effort to maintain the State Highway System in the best possible condition given the current level of funding. The report introduces the concept of Remaining Service Life (RSL), and how RSL can be used to depict the over condition of a highway network.
