Inlet Spacing Charts

These charts aid in spacing catch basins on curbs for applications where only roadway drainage is considered. They also take into account maximum ponding and 100% interception.

GEOPAK Drainage
    GEOPAK Specification Support Manual

The GEOPAK Specification Support Manual explains the step-by-step procedure to complete a storm sewer design utilizing GEOPAK Drainage. All standards and conventions are explained as well as descriptions of output reports to be submitted after the design is complete.

    Cell Library

The MicroStation cell library was created for use with GEOPAK Drainage. Both MicroStation & GEOPAK (V8 or XM) programs are required to use this file.

    Drainage Library

The Drainage Library is also used with GEOPAK Drainage. This file references the cell library described above and the .ddb file.

    Output Files

To create our standard output files for GEOPAK Drainage 2004, you will need the following files. The .drf files are needed to generate the .csv files. This data is copied into the blank EXCEL files that contain the standard information in the preferred format that we require to be submitted after the design is complete. Drainage_report.xls is the macro that you will need for the quantity summary reports. See the GEOPAK Specification Support Manual for a complete explanation of the files and how each is utilized.

The .drf files were generated inside of GEOPAK Drainage 2004 and requires Microstation 08.05.02.27 Windows x86 or newer and Bentley GEOPAK 2004 Edition – Version 08.05.02.35 or newer to operate. GEOPAK Drainage 2004 is a subprogram of Bentley GEOPAK 2004 and cannot function without another subprogram GEOPAK Road 2004. Bentley GEOPAK 2004 runs inside of Microstation V8; therefore, both programs are required.

The EXCEL files were created in Microsoft EXCEL 2000. The macro was written in Visual Basic.
