The SCDOT Procurement Division provides all SCDOT Districts
and divisions within the agency a centralized source
for pricing, formal written quotations, sealed bids,
request for proposals, vendor contact, and general problem
solving.
SCDOT’s web site displays procurement information
for the convenience of all interested parties and shall
not be construed as the official posting for procurement
opportunities with the SCDOT. The official posting for all
solicitation awards is located at SCDOT Headquarters Building
located at 955 Park Street, Columbia, SC at the 901 College Street
Entrance location on the 1st Floor.
The Procurement Division handles procurements
over $10,000. Formal written solicitations and sealed bids must be advertised and competitively bid.
These solicitations may be found on this website.
Many sources of goods and services are used by the SCDOT including
those on State Term Contracts or Agency Contracts.
It is the goal of the Procurement Division to consider
the total cost of a product or service through its life
cycle and our customer's usage requirements. The department
strives to establish long-term relationships where feasible
and to foster constant improvement of services from our
vendors.
