Preliminary Engineering

Briggs-DeLaine-Pearson Connector

Preliminary Engineering is well underway for the development of the Briggs-DeLaine-Pearson Connector. The environmental impact statement is complete and the Federal Highway Administration has issued a Record of Decision.

SCDOT is currently preparing preliminary right of way plans, preliminary bridge plans, geotechnical exploration, borings and refined cost estimates.
