The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) has scheduled a public information meeting Thursday, Sept. 24, concerning proposed corridor improvements to SC 302 (Silver Bluff Road) from Indian Creek Trail to Richardson Lake Road in Aiken County.

The meeting will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Town Creek Baptist Church,  250 Town Creek Road, Aiken.  The meeting will have a drop-in format, with displays for viewing. 

            The purposed is to provide information concerning the proposed corridor improvements to SC 302 (Silver Bluff Road) from Indian Creek Trail to Richardson Lake Road, and to solicit input from area residents.  Another purpose of the meeting will be to gather information from the public or any interested organization, on historic or cultural resources in the area.  Representatives from SCDOT will be available to answer questions.
