Transportation Secretary H.B. “Buck” Limehouse Jr. sent a letter last week to all members of the South Carolina Congressional delegation concerning the highway Authorization bill that is being drafted by the House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee.

Limehouse discusses South Carolina’s role as a “donor state” whereby South Carolina receives less than the actual revenue collected from federal fuel taxes generated in the state, as well as a host of other issues in the legislation that could impact South Carolina.

Secretary Limehouse’s complete letter to the delegation can be viewed at this link: http://www.scdot-transfer.org/scdotphotos/Grahamletter.pdf
