Bridge on Lorick Road in Richland County to be Repaired

The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) plans to repair the bridge on Lorick Road in Richland County.

The repair is to include deck panels. The bridge will be closed Aug. 11 for approximately two weeks. Pending delays due to weather or other factors, the bridge should reopen by Aug. 25.

Due to relatively low traffic volumes and to minimize construction time, cost and impact to property owners, the road will be closed and traffic detoured during the project. The detour will include US 321 (Winnsboro Road), S-61 (Koon Store Road) and US 21 (Wilson Boulevard).
